IDLE SPACE (Prototype)

“What a beautiful universe..."

Idle Space is a relaxing, hyper-casual idle space exploration game. Sit back and relax while you travel the depths of space. Play as the A.I of your ship and collect resources from planets, research ancient dialects, and keep your ship afloat by refueling at local suns.

Key features:

• A hyper-relaxing space experience 
• A short 15 minute experience that can be completed in one sitting
• An experience that focuses on environment and soundscapes
• A game where management continues the journey

This months project I had envisioned as a much larger in scope mobile game. What you're playing right now is a snapshot of some of the ideas I was working with. Although unfinished, I hope this demo provides an adequate glimpse into what I was going for! Given that I'm challenging myself to make a new short game every month, not all concepts came to fruition. Some of those ideas if the project continues are:

• A dedicated intro to explain the story
• Docking station to buy and sell collected materials
• Buy and sell different & unique ships
• Ship malfunctions (Putting out a ship fire)
• Random encounters with NPC ships (Positive & Negative)
• Many more planets to explore
• Dialects can be researched for bartering purposes
• More crew options
