Camp Clover is a short, first-person horror exploration game. It’s an experience where every moment has to be carefully considered in order to survive. Thirteen year old Cayna is about to experience the most terrifying summer camp of her life. Collect incriminating evidence as you run and hide from your new camp counselors. Evade detection and work your way through the dark to find a way home.

This game kept me on my toes and I wanted to find out what exactly was happening to all the other kids at the camp. I collected all the evidence and left thinking I was gonna get the “good” ending if there is one. But instead I felt like I got a bad ending. I think I broke the game cause one of the dudes with the flashlight was unable to catch me even though we were basically touching. Since I got a “bad” ending I though I collected all that evidence for nothing. Was a little disappointed to be honest.

Unfortunately due to time constraints, a lot of stuff was scrapped from the game & there are some known bugs. What I was supposed to accomplish in one moth I had to crunch into two weeks. Would love to make an update addressing those issues! Not bad for my second game, I hope!
In regards to the story, there is no "good ending". I might just have been a little "dark" about the outcome of Cayna after the boat but that's not to say there isn't a story to be told after she leaves the camp in a full length game or a short Camp Clover 2. There's more to the story that I just wasn't able to flesh out with the time I had left.
I'm glad people like it enough to be left wanting more out of it and I totally agree that it could have so much more to it!
In retrospect I can totally see how collecting the evidence and then being left with a grim post-mortem, leaves the player feeling disappointed as I'm sure we all want to see Cayna make it home alright :) They found the boat but never mentioned a body...I'm sure she's pretty scared all alone out there right now :0
Sorry to leave you hanging at the end! My previous game Escape From E.D.E.N has a more positive ending if that's what you're looking for!

Absolutely LOVE this style of game and was very impressed how it kept me on my toes, even though missing one thing kept me searching longer then I'd like to admit haha. Your game was 3rd and the best in this video!

Nice concept! Maybe not the scariest game I've ever played, but it was a decent way to spend a few minutes. I liked the visuals and the stealth mechanics work fairly well.

This Game, like Jazparsons previous game, has so much atmosphere to it that makes it feel like they really put some thought and passion into the game!
The opening gets straight to the point while also doing a really good job of simply explaining the mechanics of the game.
The part that I loved the most was the music and the voice acting! While the voice acting sounded a bit monotone and not as expressive as I'd expect from the lines given, the fact there was voice acting at all sets the bar waaaay up there! That's more than most indie devs are able to accomplish. The lines read were also very informative and the voice actress still did manage to put a bit of character into the player!
The low poly style was also very appealing! I loved the look of the trees mixed with the look of the buildings!
This person is 100% going somewhere with their design of games!

Cute (for a horror game)! A bit glitchy at times, but overall fun and tense experience with cool graphical styling.

I really like games that have stealth systems using the shadows in the level, it was straight to the point from A to B and it ended with enough lore to leave you satisfied. Thank you for making this! 1st game.
